Security and Responsible Disclosure

Last Update: July 2025

At RoleMapper, security is a core part of how we work. We have strong processes in place to protect our systems and data, and we welcome input from the security community to help us keep improving.

If you think you have found a potential security issue in our website, platform or services, please let us know and give us the opportunity to put it right.

How to report a vulnerability

If you believe you have identified a vulnerability, please email security@rolemapper.tech and include:

  • A clear explanation of the issue
  • Steps to reproduce it, if applicable
  • Any relevant screenshots or technical information
  • Your contact details, so we can follow up if needed

We will aim to respond promptly, investigate the issue, and keep you updated throughout the process.

What we ask in return

To help us handle reports safely and effectively, we ask that you:

  • Do not publicly disclose the issue until we have resolved it
  • Do not access, alter or delete any data that does not belong to you
  • Avoid actions that could affect the availability or stability of our services
  • Only test against your own account or a permitted test environment
  • Act in good faith and with care

We appreciate responsible reports and will always aim to handle them constructively.

How we approach security

We take a proactive approach to security across our platform and operations. This includes:

  • Role-based access controls
  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Regular penetration testing by independent experts
  • Security training for our team
  • Ongoing reviews of access and data handling

We are committed to protecting the integrity of our services and the trust of our customers and partners.
