Job Purpose 

Play a Critical Role in Our Growth: As Head of Implementation, you will take ownership of the excellent delivery of RoleMapper’s solutions to our customers – existing and new. You will enjoy proactively seeking out and filling any gaps to ensure successful customer outcomes from every implementation. You will manage multiple customer onboardings of varying sizes and complexity while continually looking for improvements, efficiency, and adding value along the way. You will build trusted relationships with customers and apply exceptional project management rigor to all our projects. You will become an expert in our platform, collaborating to find solutions to our customers’ needs. You will excel in cross-functional communication and transparency. You will play a key role in the growth of our business. 

As Head of Implementation, you will be responsible for: 

  • Leading and overseeing customer onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to successful platform adoption. 
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, managing all interactions and addressing queries during the onboarding process. 
  • Developing comprehensive onboarding plans, aligning activities with customer success and retention goals. 
  • Overseeing integration setups, identifying and resolving any feature gaps or issues. 
  • Monitoring and reporting on onboarding progress, coordinating internal delivery teams and providing regular updates to stakeholders. 
  • Driving early adopter activation and manage user queries and issues effectively. 
  • Continuously optimise onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. 

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of: 

  • Project managing the implementation of SaaS technologies with large scale, complex enterprise customers  
  • Leading the customer relationship and managing the end to end onboarding experience  
  • Successfully delivering concurrent and varied projects in a fast-paced environment 
  • Shaping and delivering tech, process, and business change solutions. 
  • Business and process change management principles and methodologies 
  • Facilitating sessions to extract current and future state positions. 
  • Ideally experience in HR Tech or an ability to demonstrate quickly getting up to speed with new products and industries  

You will also have:  

  • Highly effective communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal. 
  • High level of digital literacy in analytics, spreadsheets, and presentation software. 
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on creating and maintaining efficiency and continuous improvement.

Salary & Benefits  

Salary range: £60k - £75k base dependent on experience plus share options   

In addition to 25 days of holiday we have a paid shutdown period between Christmas and New Year which equates to an additional 3 to 5 days, depending on where the holidays land. We have also introduced “breathe” time giving the team downtime to “stop the train”, take a breath, catch-up and re-group.

Flexible Working 

This is a permanent role. We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too. In this role, we can offer the following flexible working patterns:

  • Working flexible hours - flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productive 

Location 

While our ‘official’ registered office is in Exeter, we all work remotely across different locations. We have regular team working-together days in Exeter & London, so you would need to live/work somewhere reasonably accessible to one or more of these locations.  

If you prefer working in an office, we offer flexible memberships to regional workspaces.

As part of our recruitment process, we feel that it’s important for you to get to know us, understand the reality of what it’s like here at RoleMapper and get a true flavour of the role you are applying for. With this in mind, our recruitment process contains the following steps:  

  1. Initial recruiter call to provide an overview of the company, the role and get an understanding of your background and fit for the role  
  1. Manager Interview, providing more detail on the company, our strategy, the role and a deep dive into you and your alignment to the specific requirements for the role  
  1. A 1 hour meet and greet with the team to introduce yourself and get the chance to ask questions and understand the current state  
  1. A 1.5 hour work-based assessment where you will present back your thoughts on a number of specific tasks   
  1. Psychometric (Wave) assessment (to explore your natural working style) alongside a values-based interview (something very important to us here at RoleMapper)  

While there are quite a few steps, we try to do these as quickly as we can. We ideally aim for all of this to happen across a 2 week period.
