Job Purpose 

The HR Data Analyst & Implementation Specialist is an important new position within our expanding Customer team. This is a multi-faceted role with a big focus on data, system configuration and supporting customer implementations.

You will work closely with our customers to capture, interpret, cleanse and prepare data for processing through our Machine Learning models. You will work with our Data Transformation team to process the data, QA and refine the Machine Learning outputs, ensuring the quality of data produced by our Models delivers quality outcomes for Customers. You will get to know the RoleMapper platform inside out, supporting Customers with configuration, testing and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

As HR Data Analyst & Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for: 

  • Working with customers to capture, interpret, cleanse and prepare data for processing securely and accurately
  • Supporting the setup and configuration of the RoleMapper platform for new customers
  • Running user acceptance tests (UAT) to check readiness and troubleshoot technical issues and ensure a smooth go-live
  • Reviewing, validating & quality assuring the Machine Learning outputs, ensuring the quality of data produced by our Models delivers accurate and quality outcomes
  • Contributing to research and updates to ensure our proprietary jobs model remains accurate and relevant
  • Working closely with Customer Success and Technical teams to meet project timelines and improve processes
  • Contributing to various team and wider business initiatives that support our continuous improvement and growth

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • Excellent data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, or similar tools for handling structured data)
  • Experience working with HR data and a familiarity of job & pay data structures
  • Experience of system implementation processes (configuration, UAT, troubleshooting)
  • An excitement for how HR technology and machine learning can support HR processes

You will also have: 

  • Confidence (and enthusiasm for) using and learning new software tools, including AI tools
  • Excellent organisational skills - able to manage tasks, priorities, and timelines
  • Exceptional attention to detail when working with both data and written content
  • Analytical approach – able to spot issues in data, processes, or content and suggest improvements 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills – able to communicate effectively with customers, across teams, with a collaborative approach
  • Good stakeholder management skills – good at listening, understanding customers’ needs and communicating solutions

Salary & Benefits  

Salary range: £30,000-£40,000 dependent on experience  

In addition to 25 days of holiday we have a paid shutdown period between Christmas and New Year which equates to an additional 3 to 5 days, depending on where the holidays land. We have also introduced “breathe” time giving the team downtime to “stop the train”, take a breath, catch-up and re-group.

Location 

While our ‘official’ registered office is in Exeter, we all work remotely across different locations. We have regular team working-together days in Exeter & London, so you would need to live/work somewhere reasonably accessible to one or more of these locations.  If you prefer working in an office, we offer flexible memberships to regional workspaces. 

Recruitment process  

As part of our recruitment process, we feel that it’s important for you to get to know us, understand the reality of what it’s like here at RoleMapper and get a true flavour of the role you are applying for. With this in mind, our recruitment process contains the following steps: 

  1. Initial recruiter call to provide an overview of the company, the role and get an understanding of your background and fit for the role     
  1.   Hiring Manager interview, providing more details on the company, our strategy, the role and a deep dive into you and your alignment to the specific requirements for the role  
  1. Psychometric assessment (Wave) ahead of the work-based session
  1. Work-based assessment, where you’ll meet members of the team and take part in a work-based assessment. During the session, you’ll be asked to present your work on several specific tasks.  
  2. Final Call with CEO 

While there are quite a few steps, we try to do these as quickly as we can. We ideally aim for all of this to happen across a 2-3 week period.
