Back to Careers

Do you love data and managing complex processes?

Would working with AI to help employers transform the world of work excite you?

In a world where organisations are facing significant skills challenges, increasing compliance in requirements and continuous organisational transformation, current approaches to managing jobs and job data are no longer fit for purpose.

RoleMapper is an AI-powered job description management solution that enables organisations to create, manage and future-proof job architectures and job descriptions. Built with inclusion and diversity at the core – our big vision is that our platform helps organisations build inclusive workplaces and transforms the world of work.

In 4 years, we have built a portfolio of global big brand customers across the UK and US, have recently received significant VC funding, and are now embarking on the next chapter of our growth journey.

If you love working in an inclusive, collaborative, team-first culture and are passionate about helping customers solve some of the biggest workforce challenges, then RoleMapper is the place to be!

Job Purpose:

The Service Delivery Manager is a new and strategically important role for us here at RoleMapper.  You will be accountable for managing the delivery of our unique AI-powered data transformation products, that help customers to create, cleanse and transform their job architectures, job descriptions, work and skills in rapid time. Working closely with our Product, Machine Learning and Customer Success team, you will plan and manage the many moving parts that go into delivering these services and building out this unique product offering.

As Service Delivery Manager, you will:

  • Plan & project manage the delivery of AI-Powered data transformation services to scope, quality, timeframe and budget
  • Establish and tightly manage the QA process, ensuring quality gates are implemented and quality thresholds are met by all teams
  • Provide continuous feedback on ML model outcomes, product functionality and service delivery process to ensure embedded learning loops, continuous improvement, build efficiencies and scalability in delivery
  • Manage partners and external resources to ensure sufficient resource capacity to deliver services to required demand pipeline scope & timeframe
  • Track and manage the costs and gross margin for service delivery, feeding into product, sales and finance

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience of managing complex data driven products or services (ideally where tech automation was at the core)
  • Have well-honed project management skills, with a love of motivating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high quality outcomes to tight deadlines
  • Be extremely organised with exceptional attention to detail (you will probably spot typos in this document!)
  • Be a great problem solver, constantly looking for ways to fix and improve things
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment, be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience of working in the HR space would be a bonus, but not essential if you can demonstrate your ability to quickly get up to speed with a new domain
  • Be excited about the opportunity to join and build a career in a fast-growth start-up where everything is constantly evolving

To be successful working with us you will be “Start-up ready”.  You are naturally proactive, have a positive attitude to change; have a continuous improvement mindset, are flexible, always happy to go beyond your brief; enjoy working at pace and comfortable with ambiguity.
And finally, you will really resonate with our values:
Customer Focus: we are obsessive about delivering value and reducing complexity for customers
Collaboration: we’re all about the team - collaborating, supporting and recognising everyone’s contributions
Openness & Honesty: we are open, honest, and straight-talking with each other and our customers
Authenticity & Humility: we bring our whole selves to work, and we have the humility and self-honesty to admit when we are wrong

Location & Flexible Working

This is permanent, full-time role, but we are very happy to accommodate flexibility in the day or week to help you make work and life work. Talk to us about flexibility when you apply.

While our ‘official’ registered office is in Exeter, we all work remotely across various locations. We have regular team working-together days in Exeter & London, so you would need to live/work somewhere reasonably accessible to one or more of these locations.

This is a remote-working role. If you prefer working in an office, we offer flexible membership to regional workspaces.

Competitive salary to be discussed.

The building blocks of your workforce strategy.
